WENDY PADILLA MADDEN

Wendy is an experienced international business lawyer with over 18 years of experience advising clients in all aspects of Global Mobility and Business Immigration Compliance. Her practice is focused on helping clients navigate the complexities and compliance requirements related to the global movement of talent. She routinely advises clients in the design of compliant Global Mobility programs and works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible experience for both the company and the foreign national employee.

Additionally, being a native Spanish speaker has allowed Wendy to develop a practice centered on helping Hispanic-owned companies scale and grow.

She routinely serves as a fractional General Counsel and provides general business and risk management advice to her clients. She recently graduated from Stanford’s GSB – LBAN Scaling Program, designed to guide Hispanic entrepreneurs in finding the best path to scale their companies.

Wendy also maintains an active pro-bono practice. She screens and advises low-income Hispanic clients who may qualify for U, T visa, or VAWA benefits. If qualified, she assists her clients in filing for and obtaining the benefits they are entitled to.

She is a strong champion of the Alabama State Bar Association and has supported the Alabama Court Interpreter Certification Program by teaching the Interpreter Ethics course for many years.
